MELBOURNE, Australia – "Steel to Wheels" is a behind-the-scenes look at the manufacturin process of the Nissan Navara, produced from raw steel to finished light commercial vehicle at Nissan's state-of-the-art plant in Thailand.

Thailand is Nissan Asia and Oceania's (A&O) production hub, and where Nissan's very first Navara was produced. The Navara LCVs that are produced by the plant's 1,400 local employees account for 57.6% of Nissan's exports from Thailand and are shipped to 105 destinations worldwide. With an 82% increase in sales since the Navara third generation's launch in 2014, it is now the best-selling model in Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia.

Tough, versatile, and powerful, the Navara boasts "go anywhere" capabilities and is a smart vehicle with functions not found in other pickups. It has a fully-boxed ladder frame design with the ability to withstand rigorous work and daily use, and high-tensile strength steel in strategic areas that enables it to handle roads with a lateral tilt of 32 degrees. With more than 40,000 tests and 1,000,000 kilometres of real-world road experience, the Navara has a proven record of reliability.
