QUEENSLAND, Townsville – Nissan has revealed its brand-new Nissan Best Seats VIP Tour ahead of the Townsville 400 this weekend.

The new VIP tour replaces the Nissan stretch Cube that has transported thousands of race fans around the various Supercars events since 2015.

In association with Showtime FMX, the Nissan Best Seats in the House activation gives race fans the opportunity to view the action from the VIP trackside platform, while the vehicle picks up and drops off fans at various vantage points around the circuit precinct.

At the Reid Park street circuit this weekend, the Nissan Best Seats in the House activation is located between Turn 6 and 7.

To gain access to the VIP platform and the Nissan Best Seats VIP Tour, fans simply need to prove they are a Nissan owner or fan by wearing their Nissan merchandise, or showing their Nissan car key.

The Reid Park Townsville street circuit hosts Round 7 of the 2017 Supercars Championship, with the four Nissan Supercars of Michael Caruso, Rick Kelly, Todd Kelly and Simona De Silvestro aiming to score the manufacturer's first podium at the popular event.

Michael Caruso, Driver, #23 Nissan NISMO Supercar

"The Nissan Best Seats in the House is one of the most popular activations we've ever seen at Supercars events," said Michael Caruso.

"Race tracks are difficult to get from one end to another. There's crowds to deal with and usually you have to walk long distances.

"The Best Seats vehicle takes the stress out of that travel, and when you arrive at the platform activation, you really do get the Best Seats in the House!"
