Meet Patrol Legend Les Siviour

To celebrate Patrol's 70th anniversary, we're honoring Patrol owners from around Australia who have done incredible things with their vehicles

Les Siviour, a rice farmer from Griffith, NSW, is an accidental off-road champion. He has been so successful racing his GQ Series Nissan Patrol that he's known in Australian racing circles as "Legend Les".

The Nissan Patrol’s dominance in the Australian Off Road Championship is legendary, with the iconic 4WD winning the title in the unmodified division for 15 consecutive years between 1983 and 1998. ‘Legend’ Les Siviour was behind the wheel for all but one of them. Watch the video to learn how the rice farmer's racing career began completely by accident.
