Melbourne, Australia – Next year is set to be the most exciting 12 months in Nissan's Australian history, with four all-new models and two cutting-edge technologies locked in for launch as Nissan goes ALL NEW in 2022.

A comprehensive line-up of all-new models will provide potent performance, electrifying efficiency and capability that counts, while new technologies will deliver Australian customers even greater innovation and excitement as Nissan charges into 2022.

"Next year will be a huge 12 months for Nissan, as we undertake an almost brand-wide refresh with the launch of four incredibly exciting and all-new models," says Nissan Australia Managing Director, Adam Paterson.

"From the return of our iconic Z to the rugged yet refined Pathfinder, the stylish Qashqai to the adventure-ready X-TRAIL, I can confidently say there is an all-new vehicle for everyone in 2022.

"It's not just new vehicles, but new innovations, too.  We are excited to introduce Nissan e-POWER, providing a 100% electric motor-driven powertrain as well as our flagship ProPILOT Advanced Driver Assistance System all due to arrive next year.

"That's on top of the recently launched Navara, JUKE and LEAF e+, and the soon-to-arrive Nissan GT-R NISMO. All of which gives Nissan one of the newest and most exciting vehicle line-ups in the world."

Nissan ALL NEW for 2022: An SUV to suit everyone

The all-new Nissan Qashqai will redefine the small SUV segment when it arrives in 2022.

Sleek and stylish inside and out, and technologically advanced under the skin, the all-new Nissan Qashqai will launch early in the year with four feature-packed grades, an exciting new engine, and advanced multi-link rear suspension across the range.

It delivers a spacious and stylish SUV, with enhanced safety features and lower running costs, combined with the inherent spirt and stunning design expected of the Qashqai.

The Nissan Pathfinder is all-new from the ground up. Every inch of the vehicle was carefully designed to convey a sense of rugged strength and capability, with a powerful front face, wide stance, and a shorter front overhang.

Due to arrive later in 2022, the iconic Pathfinder offers an all-new nine-speed transmission, all-new Intelligent 4WD with seven-position Drive and Terrain Mode Selector, as well as formidable towing capability.

One of the most advanced Nissan SUVs ever, the all-new Nissan X-TRAIL will also arrive next year. With a bold new exterior, a family focused interior and a comprehensive suite of safety systems, the new X-TRAIL sets the adventure bar high with its versatile, fun and adventurous spirit.

Nissan ALL NEW for 2022: The Nissan Z legend continues

Engineered by and for the driving enthusiast, the seventh-generation Nissan Z sports car will arrive in Australia in the second half of 2022.

Designed to thrill, the seductive lines of the iconic Z are matched with a driver-focused cabin complete with manual or paddle-shift transmission, rear-wheel drive and a potent twin-turbocharged V6 engine.

"The new Z doesn't just further the story, it rewrites it," Mr Paterson says. "From power to handling, technology to cabin comfort, this a vehicle designed to delight, and we can't wait for its Australian fans to get behind the wheel."

Nissan ALL NEW for 2022: e-POWER

Nissan's innovative e-POWER technology will launch in Australia 2022, with the advanced powertrain technology delivering a true EV drive experience without ever needing to plug in.

Unlike existing hybrid systems, Nissan's e-POWER is a true EV solution, combining the seamless acceleration of an electric motor and high-output battery with a fuel-efficient petrol engine for complete range freedom.

In conventional hybrid systems, the wheels are powered by an electric motor and a petrol engine. However, Nissan's e-POWER technology sees the driving wheels powered exclusively by an electric motor. The petrol engine is used only to charge the vehicle's battery when necessary, allowing for a true EV drive experience, and lower fuel use and emissions.

Nissan ALL NEW for 2022: ProPILOT

Nissan's Intelligent Mobility platform continues to deliver the latest in safety and technology to drivers, with advanced features and capability that build on Nissan's commitment to innovations that makes life easier every day.

Advanced technology for Australia in 2022 will include Nissan's ProPILOT. This innovative system is an easy-to-use Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) that combines Intelligent Cruise Control with Steering and Lane Keep Assist Technologies.

ProPILOT applies braking to your Nissan when it gets too close to the vehicle ahead, and will even bring your vehicle to a complete stop with its 'Stop and Hold' capability, before autonomously bringing the vehicle back up to speed. It will do all of this while ensuring your vehicle remains safety within its lane markings.
