Melbourne, Australia – To celebrate its partnership with BIG4 Holiday Parks, Nissan has revealed a striking livery that will debut at this week's Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

The one-off BIG4 paintwork will feature on the #23 Nissan NISMO entry of Michael Caruso and Dean Fiore, as the endurance pairing tackle the biggest race of the season for the fourth successive year.

"I think the BIG4 Nissan looks great, to be able to bring partnerships to life at the track is exciting," said Supercars driver Michael Caruso.

"It's also a lot of fun to show off a new looking car, and it doesn't get much bigger than Bathurst. The whole nation is watching.

"I hope everyone gets behind us this weekend, we'll be working hard for a great result on and off the track."

The BIG4 Holiday Parks livery will make its debut this Thursday when Caruso and the Nissan squad begin practice ahead of Sunday's 161 lap race.

"Bathurst is the biggest event of the year, it's the race every driver wants to win," said Caruso.

"We've had a bit of a rough season so far, but Bathurst is a long race and anything can happen. It presents the perfect opportunity to turn it all around.

"Entering our fourth Bathurst as teammates, Dean (Fiore) and I know each other really well. We believe that continuity will pay dividends."

Before the lights turn green this weekend, Caruso and Fiore will carry on Nissan Motorsport's annual Bathurst road trip tradition, departing from Melbourne BIG4 Holiday Park in Coburg - one of the company's most popular Melbourne-based holiday parks - in a Nissan Pathfinder.

The NISMO pairing will then stop off at BIG4 Wangaratta North Cedars Holiday Park and BIG4 Wagga Wagga before spending tonight at BIG4 Bathurst Panorama Holiday Park. They will be the first Supercars drivers to arrive at Mount Panorama.

"Driving up to Bathurst is an important part of our race preparation," said Caruso.

"The road trip gives you time to settle your thoughts and appreciate what you're about to embark upon.

"Todd and Rick Kelly always enjoyed the drive. To be able to do this with Deano, and stop at some BIG4 holiday parks along the way, is something pretty special.

"I'm sure there'll be some people roughing it at the top of the mountain that wouldn't mind enjoying the amenities they offer at BIG4."

In good news for the sport, it has been confirmed that all teams will use 2016 compound Dunlop tyres at Bathurst. This has been welcomed by Caruso, who suffered a tyre failure at the recent Sandown 500.

"The tyre performed well at Bathurst last year, so we're confident we'll have a good run this weekend," said Caruso.

"We've had some issues with the new compound tyre this season, and this has definitely hurt us more than other teams, so we're approaching Bathurst full of optimism."

BIG4 Holiday Parks started in 1979 when four caravan park owners from the Victorian city of Ballarat combined their shared passion for delivering the Great Australian Break.

Together, they created the foundation for what is today a collection of popular parks with quality accommodation and facilities across 180 locations nationally.
