Melbourne: The Nissan QASHQAI has been refreshed for 2025, introducing range-wide updates that include its design, technology and connectivity.
Also new for 2025 is the N-DESIGN grade, which dials up the street appeal through dynamic body styling and large 20-inch alloys.
The 2025 Nissan Qashqai range sees an adjustment to the grade names to align with Nissan's larger SUVs.

The 2025 updates stretch right across the range, including from the ST entry point.
A heavily revised exterior design joins an elevated interior ambience thanks to the use of new and premium materials, while technology has been enhanced right across the range.
"While the original QASHQAI essentially pioneered the urban crossover SUV, this 2025 update redefines the segment in terms of style and substance," says Nissan Australia Marketing Director, Sriram Padmanabhan.
"The addition of the N-DESIGN only furthers the QASHQAI's appeal, creating a new and style-led grade that also benefits from these range-wide enhancements."
2025 Nissan QASHQAI: Fashion-forward design
A new addition to the QASHQAI line-up is the N-DESIGN grade, available exclusively with Nissan's innovative e‑POWER powertrain. On the exterior, the lower body portion below the doors and the wheel arches are now body-coloured, while new 20" alloy wheels, gloss-black mirror covers and black roof rails all deliver added on-road presence.
Elsewhere across the range, the front grille of the QASHQAI has been updated to create a more striking first impression. It now consists of dozens of high gloss, three dimensional comma-shaped elements painted in high gloss black paint which appear to float in the space between the lip of the bonnet and the numberplate holder. To the sides, the "commas" are finished in a "satin chrome" hot foil stamp on select grades.
New headlights bring a sense of purpose and presence, and an even sharper look. Below the main lens the daytime running lights consist of five small lenses which are the same shape as the "commas" of the main grille.
The daytime running lights now encircle the main headlight lens, joining with the thin light above the headlight which is similar to the unit on the previous iteration of QASHQAI. The upper daytime running light element becomes the turn indicator when activated and features sequential turning lights front and rear (according to the grade).
At the rear, the red lighting elements now consist of four individual elements which echo the shape of the front grille "commas". They appear to float in the lens housing and are now a distinctive shade of red, known as "super red", and bring a sense of elevated precision. The lenses are now clear, to allow a better view of the lighting elements.
Impressive 17-inch alloy wheels appear on the ST grade, while the QASHQAI ST-L features 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. For the Ti, there are 19-inch alloys, while the Ti-L and new N-DESIGN feature new 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheel designs.
Three new colours have been added to the QASHQAI's palette. Pearl White replaces the previous white option and features a cleaner, pure tint that appears to give a glow in certain lighting conditions. Black Onyx replaces the previous black option, has a richer black tint and has the effect of sharpening the definition of the QASHQAI's visual geometry. Deep Ocean is a new eye-catching shade. It appears to sit somewhere between dark blue and metallic teal depending on the prevailing light conditions.
Increasing the road presence is the availability of a black roof, on Ti and above, to create a striking two-tone effect.
2025 Nissan QASHQAI: Upscale ambience in every seat
The Nissan QASHQAI's interior has been enhanced to deliver an upscale ambience, including the new patterned materials that adorn the centre console around the gear selector and the decoration insert between the upper dashboard and glovebox.
For upper grades, there is a new application of Alcantara® on the dashboard, door inserts, door armrests, centre storage console lid and even the knee pads all combine to elevate the on-board ambience.
Updated seat trims have also been introduced, most notably Alcantara and synthetic leather accents< on the QASHQAI N-Design.
Another new dimension to the elevated life-on-board feeling is the addition of ambient lighting from the Ti grade, giving an array different colour options.

The Nissan QASHQAI's technology overhaul begins from the entry ST grade, now fitted with a 12.3-inch central touchscreen with Wireless Apple CarPlay®~ & Wireless Android Auto™~.
2025 Nissan QASHQAI: Always connected
The 2025 Nissan QASHQAI debuts Nissan's Connected Car Services (CCS) >in Australia. Downloading the Nissan Connect app will give owners instant access to their vehicle, with the ability to access key health and status information, trip history and any vehicle disturbances, including Theft and Tow Alert.
2025 Nissan QASHQAI: Power to the people
The new Nissan QASHQAI continues to be offered with the choice of two powertrains. The first pairs a 1.3-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol (110kW/250Nm) with an Xtronic CVT transmission. Three driving modes (Standard, Eco, Sport) deliver further control.
Also available is Nissan's innovative e‑POWER powertrain, which comprises a variable compression ratio 1.5L turbo-petrol, three cylinder engine with a power generator, inverter and electric motor, with a combined system output of 140kW and 330Nm. Nissan's e‑Pedal^ Step and regenerative braking further enhance the EV-like drive experience.
